Manjushri Empowerment
Manjushri, “the sweetly beautiful” is one of the “three bodhisattvas”, together with Chenrezig (Buddha of compassion) and Chagna Dorje (Buddha of power).
In Tibet, people pray to him every morning: he is believed, with his blazing sword, to push away the demons of ignorance and bring in the light. It is also said that those practitioners with outstanding erudition are an incarnation of Manjushri, which is why, in the Khön lineage, where the Sakya family comes from, there are numerous masters considered to be emanations of Manjushri —amongst them, the current Sakya Trichen.
Manjushri is the lord of wisdom and he inspires and bestows eloquence to those who want to go deeper into the path of the Buddha. He is the protector of scholars and students, and he paves the way towards wisdom, giving memory and strength of understanding to all those who invoke him. An ideal practice for those who are initiating themselves on the path and for those who, already experienced, want to cultivate and preserve their wisdom.
Biography H.E. Gyana Vajra Rinpoche
H.E. Gyana Vajra Rinpoche is the youngest son of His Holiness Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, and one of the main holders of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. He will soon be enthroned as the Sakya lineage holder. He has received most initiations, oral transmissions, blessings and pith instructions from H.H. Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, as well as common and uncommon teachings from some of the most recognized masters of Tibetan Buddhism in our times, such as H.E. Chogye Trichen Rinpoché, Luding Khenchen Rinpoché, Khöndung Ratna Vajra Rinpoché, H.E. Luding Khen Rinpoché, H.E. Jetsun Chimey Luding Rinpoché, etc. He completed his studies in the Sakya monastery and Sakya University, in India. For the past years, he has been traveling the world giving teachings and expanding the precious Dharma. He also created the Sakya Academy project to teach young novices, preserve the teachings of the Dharma and, more specifically, those of the Sakya lineage.

About the finantial contribution
Casa Virupa is currently a project in its consolidation phase. We are a very young center with little resources, as we do not have sponsors and no one in our organization receives any salary for their work. That is why we please ask that you consider the possibility of making a donation for this activity.
We believe the minimum contribution for this online event is 15€, in order to help us cover the costs of what a whole weekend of this magnitude implies.
We thank you very much for your collaboration and understanding.
